Tour "Knot to Knot"
|
|
From the beautiful world of Moroccan weaving, we will look for the other hidden crafts in the Muiderslot during this tour. Every object here has its own story and bears the signature of the maker. It could take months to build a chest in the Middle Ages, so furniture lasted for generations.
We dive deeper into the art of weaving and knotting, but also learn more about the craft of the cabinetmaker, bricklayer, blacksmith and copper foundry. So we are going to look carefully at the objects in the museum, instead of just walking past them.
This tour is Dutch spoken.
